July 2025 starts with a Full Moon in the sign of Sagittarius on the 10th. A Full Moon in Sagittarius signifies expansion, luck, and new beginnings. Then we have Saturn, the strict disciplinarian turning Retrograde in the Water sign of Pisces on the 13th of July. It stays retrograde till the end of November this year. This period will encourage introspection and a reassessment of our life path, particularly regarding responsibilities, self-discipline, and long-term goals. It's a time for clearing karmic debts and focusing on personal growth. In a couple of days, on the 16th, Sun transits to the sign of Cancer for a one-month stint there till mid- August. During this period, the Sun, which represents vitality and ego, will take on the nurturing and emotional qualities associated with Cancer.
Following Saturn, Mercury turns Retrograde on the 17th of July in the water sign of Cancer. When Mercury does go retrograde in Cancer, it can bring up emotional issues and communication challenges, particularly related to family, home, and personal feelings. After a lull period of about a week or so, we would have the New Moon for the month at 8 degrees of Cancer on the 24th.
