MERCURY TRANSITS VIRGO –(OCTOBER 1 – 18)
As October starts, on the 1 st , both Mercury and Venus would be transiting to new signs. Mercury in Leo transits to Virgo and would be here till the 18 th . After spending some time in Leo, the house of Sun, Mercury now gets into its own sign of Virgo. During this entry, the Sun and Mars are already posited in Virgo. Soon Mercury gets nearer to the Sun and gets into exact conjunction (0 deg) and becomes combust. With this Mercury might lose some of its sheen and would make it difficult for us to express ourselves freely.
As Mercury travels close to the Sun, it gets combust more often. This combustion teaches us how to get our point across despite much hindrances around. Mercury is very strong in Virgo and hence would present us with much enthusiasm and flexible nature to proceed further.
VENUS TRANSITS LEO-( OCTOBER 1 – NOVEMBER 2)
As Mercury gets out of Leo and enters into Virgo, Venus the planet of love and compassion transits from the watery sign of Cancer and into the fiery abode of the Sun namely, Leo. Venus would be here for the next one month period, only to exit Leo on the 2 nd of November. Venus had long been in the sign of Cancer owing to its recent retrograde activity. During its retrograde motion, Venus visited Leo as well.
The Sun is busy embroiled in the combustion of Mercury that Venus is free to transit its territory. In Leo, Venus gets the aspects of Saturn, Jupiter and Rahu or the Moon’s North node. This is a great time to learn not to take anything to heart and get away from all sort of negativity around. One of the main factors would be the opposition of Retrograde Saturn on Venus this month. This changes the direction of power channels and gives the emphasis that what works now on a personal level also applies to the society as a whole.
MARS TRANSITS LIBRA-( OCTOBER 3 – NOVEMBER 15)
Mars that transited through Virgo in September transits to the sign of Libra on the 3 rd of October and would be here till mid-November. Ketu or the Moon’s South Node is already posited in the sign of Libra.
Mars and Ketu together rule the sign of Scorpio. Both of them are fiery in nature and are always associated with power and strength. Hence together these two planets create an avenue for logic and intuition to play around. The exact conjunction of these two takes place shortly and this would be a time for major transformations. Be ready for some changes and amends here and there.
NEW MOON IN VIRGO- OCTOBER 14 (ANNULAR SOLAR ECLIPSE)
The luminaries Sun and Moon join together at 27 degrees of Virgo on the 14 th of November forming the New Moon for October. This also happens to be an Annular Solar Eclipse which would be visible in most of the Americas.
Generally Eclipses are known to bring about some darkness in an otherwise lit area of our life. It might bring our fears to the fore and would hinder anything that comforts and or gives power to us. And Solar Eclipses in particular would interfere with our path and meddle with our confidence levels in life. However at times, these interferences might turn much favorable to us for the long run ahead. Shortly following the Eclipse, the Sun would be moving over to the sign of Libra. Hence this would be a good time to change our focus towards new emerging horizons.
SUN TRANSITS LIBRA –(OCTOBER 17 – NOVEMBER 16)
Close on the heels of the Solar Eclipse, the Sun transits to the sign of Libra on the 17 th of October and stays here till the 16 th of November. The Sun is said to be debilitated in the sign of Libra and hence this is not a good place for the Sun to be for now. While the Sun transits through Libra there might be a clash between self-interests ruled by the Sun and the collective social responsibility played by Libra. But then with Venus, the ruler of Libra being posited in Leo the abode of Sun there might be some relief. With this, the Sun and Venus would play a level game. This exchange of signs between the Sun and Venus favors any project that inter-weaves individual creativity or expression with the collective expression at large. This is also a good time to learn how blending of different souls make a good relationship.
MERCURY TRANSITS LIBRA-( OCTOBER 18 – NOVEMBER 6)
Mercury in Virgo transits to Libra on the 18 th of October and travels through this sign till the 6 th of November. Mercury negates any negative energy that is playing around in the sign of Libra at this time. Particularly Mars and Rahu with fiery energy might make thing around quite intense. Though Mercury is known for analysis and logical thinking, taking decisions right now might be a tough task thanks to Mars and Rahu posited in Libra.

FULL MOON IN ARIES- OCTOBER 28 (PARTIAL LUNAR ECLIPSE)
The Sun in Libra at 11 degrees of Libra opposes the Moon at 11 degrees of Aries forming the Full Moon for October 2023. This is also a Partial Lunar Eclipse. Though the Sun is debilitated in Libra, due to the exchange of signs, it gets strength by Venus. In Aries, Moon has the company of Rahu which plays a major role in this Lunar Eclipse.
The Sun in Libra is joined by Ketu, Mars and Mercury and together they all play a major role in defining this lunar eclipse. Moon, Rahu and Jupiter from Aries would be opposing the Sun, Mercury, Mars and Ketu in Libra. Around this time Saturn would be in opposition to Venus as well. Expect major fireworks around this period. With this Lunar Eclipse, October would end on some sort of a deadlock or so, thanks to some intense planetary energies playing around.
This Lunar Eclipse would be visible in Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, North America, Norther and Eastern parts of South aMerica,the Arctic, Antractica, the Pacific, Atlantic and the Indian Ocean.
