Mercury Transits Leo-( September 3 – 22)
Mercury recently came out of a retrograde cycle, turning direct during the last days of August in the water sign of Cancer. Now as September dawns, Mercury pushes itself out of Cancer and into Leo following the Sun for a brief stint there.
Mercury’s transit through Leo can be a time for making some integrations, improvements and re-organizations. You would find new ways to manage your resources and responsibilities in life. In Leo, Mercury would be opposing Saturn placed in Aquarius. This would pressure your inwards to keep up your pace with time. Saturn brings about structure and routine and this opposition might dismantle things and throws you out of your routine schedules.
However, Mercury in Leo brings about new ways of learning things, new modes of self-expression and creative ways to pursue. The pace of Mercury through Leo in September would be quite fast and would be an adventurous ride.
Sun Transits Virgo –(September 16 – October 16)
Sun in Leo as September started moves out to the adjacent sign of Virgo on the 16th of September and would stay there till the 16th of October for a month’s time. Virgo is an earthy sign and in Virgo the Sun would be aligning itself to start the second eclipse season of the year. On the 21st of September Virgo would be hosting the Autumnal Equinox marking the start of the Fall season of the year.
Just as the Sun enters Virgo, we have Venus exiting the sign in a few days’ time, leaving the Sun alone in Virgo along with Ketu or the Moon’s South Node. And this Sun in Virgo would be aspected by the fiery Mars from the sign of Gemini.
The transit of Sun through Virgo helps us to analyse and organize more efficiently. Also, the Sun would be aspected by Jupiter and this would give a positive impact for our forward momentum. Hence aided by the positive impact the Sun has during this transit we would be able be better discern between the good and the bad and to cling onto the goodness around.
Full Moon -Partial Lunar Eclipse in Pisces- September 17
On the 17th of September the Moon in Pisces gets full at 2 degrees of Pisces opposing the Sun at 2degrees of Virgo forming the Full Moon which also happens to be a Partial Lunar Eclipse thanks to the line-up with the nodal axis.
However, as the North Node of the Moon is apart from the Moon by 10 degrees, the eclipse would be partial. Be ready to handle the unexpected around this eclipse season as eclipses are known to bring the unknown and the unseen to the fore. This Eclipse is visible in Western Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas.
Use this eclipse season to turn inwards and look for answers to questions surrounding our lives. This is a good time to clean both physically and mentally. And release the unwanted and the impurities surrounding your life.
Venus Transits Libra –(September 18 – October 12)
Venus was in Virgo as September started where it was said to be debilitated. Following the eclipse day, on the 18th Venus transits to the sign of Virgo where it would be staying till the 12th of October. Just as Venus exits Virgo, there would be the aspect of Mars and Jupiter onto the sign of Virgo. Libra is the natural abode of Venus and hence it would be comfortable here during the stay.
These few weeks of Venus transit through Libra would be a good time to be at our creative best. You can finally write a journal, sketch your thoughts and learn a new art skill these days.
