VENUS TRANSITS LEO –(AUGUST 31 - SEPTEMBER 23)

Venus transits to the zodiac house of Leo on the 31st of August. It stays here till the 23rd of September. The compassionate Venus makes sure that we are not fiery as the sign of Leo bringing about destruction around, instead helps us to build constructively. Leo is all about self while Venus brings in the universal brotherhood concept and teaches us as to how we should commune with each other.

Venus in Leo would be aspected by Mars and Rahu or the Moon’s North node till the middle of September. This makes sure that unwanted relationships are pruned off and the really committed ones are put back on track. Despite their differences, the Sun and Venus share the common themes of entertainment and creativity around this time.

MERCURY RETROGRADE IN VIRGO-( SEPTEMBER 9 - OCTOBER 1)

Mercury in Leo entered the zodiac sign of Virgo on the 20 th of August, 2022. Then it began to slow down, now it halts at 15 degrees of Virgo on the 9 th of September and goes retrograde. It goes direct on the 1 st of October in Virgo itself. In 2022 all the Mercury retrograde phases are occurring in the earthy signs and now it happens in its own house of Virgo.

We have already Jupiter retrograding in its own house of Pisces and Saturn going retrograde in its house of Capricorn. With about three planets retrograding this is a good time to have a good perspective of our lives and re-organise things around.

Mercury in general is at its best position when in Virgo. Use this retrograde period to find out if you can revive certain abandoned projects. Mercury in Virgo is also a good time for some health diagnoses and lifestyle alterations for the good.

This Mercury in Virgo is opposed by Jupiter from the house of Pisces. Hence this would be an ideal time to learn something from people around us, probably a friend or a partner. An apt time to find a teacher to teach you a special skill you are interested in. Do not start anything new for this period, instead wait for Mercury to go direct on the 1 st of October.

FULL MOON IN AQUARIUS- SEPTEMBER 10

As September 2022 starts, the Moon would be waxing and it gets full on the 10 th of September at 24 degrees of Aquarius. At this time, the other luminary namely, the Sun would be directly opposite (180 deg) in the zodiac sky at 24 degrees of Leo, its own sign. This forms the Full Moon of September. This is a good time to enjoy the benefits of your hard work of the past period. This Full Moon would be a time for being grateful for what we are and what we have in life.

With Mercury going retrograde during this Full Moon phase, we are asked not to stop but pause for a while and retrospect. A time when we would learn as to what rewards us and what would yield goodness in our lives.

SUN TRANSITS VIRGO-( SEPTEMBER 16 - OCTOBER 17)

The Sun in Leo as September starts would exit the same and reach the next sign of Virgo on the 16 th of September and would be staying here for about a month’s time, till the 17 th of October.

With the Sun loitering in the abode of Mercury we would be ready to plunge into action. The Sun adds up to the strength of Mercury in Virgo and Mars in its own house of Taurus. The areas covered by the sign of Virgo in your natal chart would be in a spruce up mode around this time when the Sun transits it.

RETROGRADE JUPITER OPPOSITE RETROGRADE MERCURY- SEPTEMBER 18

Exactly on the 18 th of September, the retrograde Jupiter from its own house of Pisces would be in direct opposition (180 deg) to the retrograde Mercury in is own house of Virgo. This might bring about some hindrances with regard to our co-operative deals and educational pursuits.

Mercury goes direct on the 1 st of October and again gets into an exact opposition (180 deg) to Jupiter on the 12 th of October. This opposition between two retrograding planets teaches us some important life lessons. A good time when we get to know that we cannot always learn from others perfectly and sometimes what we learn cannot be implemented practically in our lives.

Venus transiting through Leo transits to the house of Virgo on the 23 rd of September and stays here till the 17 th of October. In Virgo, Venus gets the aspect of Jupiter. Virgo is not a favourite position for Venus and is said to be debilitated therein. Virgo is the house of abundance and is related to analysis and organising. Venus is all about comfort and luxury.

Venus in Virgo indicates that work would give us satisfaction and content in life, and the learning process would bring enjoyment and pleasure for us. Though Mercury going retrograde around might bring about some delays and hindrances, Venus would try to soothe the tough environment around.

NEW MOON IN VIRGO- SEPTEMBER 25
