The luminaries Sun and Moon join together exactly at 18 degrees of Aquarius on the 2nd day of March forming the New Moon for March 2022.
During this New Moon most of the planets are found in the houses ruled by Saturn. Saturn is placed in its own sign of Capricorn and has Mercury, Mars and Venus with itself. This is a very powerful combination with Saturn being it its own house, Mercury and Venus in friendly territory and Mars being Exalted in Capricorn. And Capricorn is an earthy sign that is movable.
Hence this would be a great time to connect to the earth and work diligently. This New Moon gives us hope that the lessons we learned till now can be used to navigate ourselves through this life. We would be able to shed off whatever is redundant for our forward movement. In a way, this New Moon period can be taken as a time for healing too.
Mercury Transits Aquarius-( March 6 – 24)
Mercury transiting Capricorn would move over to the adjacent house of Aquarius on the 6th of March and would be here till the 24th . Mercury would be joining Jupiter at 25 degrees of Aquarius on the 20th of March. Generally Mercury is termed as student and Jupiter as Guru or teacher and this conjunction between the two planets would bring about some issues related to the education process as a whole.
Now as Mercury is free from the clutches of Saturn in Capricorn, areas ruled by Mercury like communication and learning would proceed a bit faster and better. These areas would have been stifled to a certain extent by Saturn when Mercury loitered in Capricorn. Now we would see some momentum in these areas.
Aquarius is an airy sign that asks for more freedom, equality and focuses on humanity as a whole. Mercury and Jupiter together in Aquarius would bring about radical changes around. Mercury would be leaving to Pisces on the 24th of March and Jupiter would be following suit during mid-April.
Mars-Venus Separate - March 12
Mars and Venus have been together since the year 2022 started, in mid-February they were in Capricorn together and now on the 12th of March they would be parting ways. Venus gets out of Aquarius on March 30th as the month ends and Mars would follow on the 6th of April.
Mars is all about war, aggression, power and resources. Venus rules over people and the way we connect with each other. Venus take over diplomacy as well. As they were together, though they constitute opposite characters, they strive to bring about a balance in relationships. Mars and Venus have been in conjunction(0 deg) in Capricorn, an earthy sign form February 12 to March 12 for a month’s time. This would be bringing about a failure in understanding, show of force or domination, and destruction of ties and goodwill. Does the Russian-Ukraine have a say in this conjunction? If so, we can expect some betterment after March 12th when both Mars and Venus part ways.

Sun in Pisces-( March 14 – April 14)
The Sun in Aquarius as March 2022 starts moves to Pisces on the 14th of March. It stays put here for about a month’s time and on April 14th, transits to the house of Aries, to start its annual tour of the zodiac sky once again. Generally it is believed that after the vernal equinox that occurs on the 21st of March when the days become longer, the Sun gets more powerful marking the start of the Spring season. Entering Pisces, the Sun has left Jupiter and Mercury in Aquarius.
Pisces is a watery sign and is dual in nature. Hence the situation around would be sort of fluid and difficult to navigate. It marks the culmination of the travel through the zodiac signs. The Sun in Pisces enable us to garner our resources, set off things that are now redundant and aspire to grow to the next level as it slowly inches towards Aries, the start of the zodiac.

Mercury Transits Pisces-( March 24 – April 8)
Mercury transiting Aquarius moves to the house of Pisces on the 24th of March and stays here till the 8th of April. In Pisces, Mercury is said to be debilitated. Mercury gets into combustion as well when in encounters the Sun in Pisces. With both being combusted and debilitated, Mercury would be in a tough situation and very weak.
Mercury gets into combustion with the Sun between the 18th of March and the 7th of April when it would be very close to the luminary Sun, it would become simply invisible and being a neighbouring planet to the Sun, the effect would be quite enormous.
Mercury rules over communication and being debilitated it loses it flexibility and hence we would find it tough to keep working. We would encounter certain challenges in our regular works. Our voices might not be heard, nor our faces seen and the presence of the luminary Sun in the vicinity, we might be feeling lost.
Venus Transits Aquarius-( March 30 – April 27)
Venus in Capricorn moves to the next house of Aquarius on the 30th just as March 2022 ends and would be staying in this earthy sign till the 27th of April. With this transit we would be able to see some potential for our relationship growth, now that Venus has separated from its rival, the fiery Mars.
Venus would be bidding farewell to Mars during the mid-month and would move past Saturn during 27th. And then on the 27th of April, it shifts to the house of Pisces where it is said to be exalted. The transit of Venus would be a great time to make some important moves in our lives.
