This is the time for the people of Bahai faith to engross themselves in spiritual activities and abstain from selfish and carnal desires. According to Bahai faith by fasting one can be able to get closer to their spirit for during this time they stay away from bodily constraints where they gain more wisdom and spiritual knowledge.Man's thoughts will be confined to the commemoration of God, and through this awakening and stimulation surely ideal advancements follow. Thus it is very important for each one of this Bahai faith to undergo this period of fasting.
