2019 Meteor Shower

Year 2019 promises to be a great year for Meteor-watching. So when and where do you look for the shooting stars all over the world and what is it all about? A meteor shower is a celestial event where a number of meteors radiate from one point in the night sky. And these meteors are caused by streams of cosmic debris called meteoroids entering the atmosphere of the earth in parallel paths at very high-speed.

2019 Meteorshower

The meteor showers listed below are the most common and easiest to observe in the night sky and are found to have the most activity at any point of time. However night time sky should be quite conducive for observing the same. Most of these meteor showers are best seen just after midnight.

These meteor showers are named after the constellation in which they are found. Meteor showers give us a good opportunity to just lay back lazy under the night sky and wonder at the awesome nature that God has made without any gadgets. Pack your bags...
