In astrology, aspect is the term used to describe the angle that the various planets make among themselves and also to the ascendant, mid-heaven, descendant and other astrological points of importance. Aspects are measured by the angular distance in degrees and minutes of ecliptic longitude between two astrological points.
In astrology, there are two types of aspects, the first one is called as “soft” (or easy) aspect (which includes conjunct, sextile, trine) and the other one is the “hard” aspect (which consists of semisextile, square, quincunx, opposite).
