Pilgrimages and Astrology

Jupiter, if combined with or aspected by the 10th lord, leads one to acts of piety. If the 7th, 5th, 9th, 10th lords and Jupiter combine in a watery sign, the native has dips in the sacred rivers.
The dasa of the 4th lord gives pilgrimages to many holy spots. If malefics occupy the 10th and 4th houses from lagna, the native dies during his pilgrimages to a sacred shrine.
If the lord of the 9th and 10th houses combine, the native goes on a long pilgrimage. .If benefics aspect the 9th house and 9th lord occupies a trine or quadrant or the 11th house the native goes on a big pilgrimage. Success of Travel

Squares and oppositions between your travel planet and other planets indicate that energy may be blocked and travel would not be that fruitful, while sextiles and trines symbolize flowing energy. Conjunctions can vary in effect depending on the nature of the two planets involved. Mars and Saturn when involved together mess up the safety harness of your travel.
