ZINCITE

Overview:

Zincite is a very rare mineral, and has been found in New Jersey, but only as very small, grain-sized crystals.Poland is also a source of this mineral. They formed by an unexpected accident where the conditions became just right within large smoke stacks at a

Zinc smelting facility in Poland, forming these fantastic crystals which grow attached to the insides of the smoke stacks.

Born in fiery flames, crystalline Zincite is an excellent stone for transformation and alchemicalizing your life. It anchors the light body in to the physical realm, assists in fulfilling karmic agreements and soul evolution, and synthesizes physical energy and personal power. Assisting the manifestation process and re-energizing depleted systems, Zincite removes hypnotic commands and energy blocks and encourages free flow of life force.

It is the result of an incidental breakage of the zinc smelter walls. Significant changes of temperature and air pressure inside the furnace created conditions supporting spontaneous growth of these crystals in air vents and chimney channels. Only limited amount of commercial Zincite is available worldwide.

Zincite crystals can be grown artificially, and synthetic zincite crystals are available as a by-product of zinc smelting. Synthetic crystals can be colorless or can range in color from dark red, orange, or yellow to light green. Both natural and synthetic zincite crystals are significant for their early use as semiconductor crystal detectors in the early development of crystal radios before the advent of vacuum tubes. As an early radio detector it was used in conjunction with another mineral, chalcopyrite, and this combination was known as the Perikon detector.
