ELIGIBILITY

Initially dairy technology was a sub division of veterinary and animal husbandry .It is offered by agricultural universities and also by institutes which offers programs on food sciences. However the eligibility criteria vary for different countries. Exclusive diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Dairy technology are offered by several universities. Specialization in the specific or related area like Veterinary Science, Dairy Technology or Engineering is a prerequisite for entry into this field. Persons aspiring to make a career in dairy technology must be prepared to live in remote areas, or far away from the comforts and conveniences of the city.
