Skinny out, real bodies in

Super-skinny is out and real bodies are in.
That was the unanimous verdict of a panel of Australian fashion industry experts who assembled in Sydney last week.The group of fashion designers, editors and buyers, including plus-size cover girl and designer Natalie Wakeling and Jeanswest marketing general manager Leanne Wall, says the demand for "real life" models with real bodies and real lives has never been stronger.
Wall says Jeanswest customers respond best when the company uses realistic "non-models". But she says it"s hard to find such types.
The event was hosted by Pure Talent Agency, which is dedicated to providing realistic talent.
