If your mum or dad happens to be an iconic musician, then chances are you have a promising career in modeling ahead of you. I say this because it seems to have become more than just a trend, but rather a fact of life. Musicians maketh models. Just look at Mick Jagger – practically every one of his offspring has cheekbones to die for. Even the wrinkly pirate that is Keith Richards had kids that walked the catwalks. Models with rock stars for parents usually make for better marketing tools than those who don"t, so high paying advertising campaigns usually come easily to those with famous last names. We all remember Peaches Geldoff for Dotti don"t we?

Here we look at some of the new rock star offspring hitting the catwalk, amongst some of our all time favourites.


Tali Lennox
Tali Lennox is one of the new fresh faces to star in the recent autumn winter shows. Despite only entering the modelling industry last year, so far Tali has walked for Acne, Prada, Missoni, and Christopher Kane. The delicate brunette has also appeared in campaigns for Acne and Top Shop and recently scored a reputable gig fronting Burberry"s summer campaign. While her pale face may be shiny and new, her last name sounds awfully familiar. Turns out her mother is Eurythmics front woman Annie Lennox and her father is Israli film producer Uri Fruchtmann.

Tara Ferry
Posing next to Tali in Burberry"s summer campaign is Tara Ferry. Not so surprisingly Tara comes from rock heritage also; his father being Bryan Ferry of Roxy Music. Wow what a coincidence! Then again judging from Burberry campaign past, they love their rock star children don"t they? A few years back Tara"s brother Merlin jumped alongside Aggy and Lily in a campaign for the British brand.

Ava Sambora
She"s only 13, but the daughter of Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora and Heather Locklear is eyeing off a career in modeling after walking the runway at LA Fashion Week. Granted she did only walk for her father"s label (which has the unfortunate name of White Trash Beautiful) but she does have her mother"s glassy blue eyes and golden glow so depending on how puberty goes we might be seeing more of her.

Amber Le Bon
With almond eyes and legs for days, Amber Le Bon is a designers dream. The eldest daughter of Duran Duran lead singer Simon Le Bon and model Yasmin Le Bon, Amber has appeared on the cover of Tatler, modeled for Moschino and appeared in recent campaigns for Pantene and Forever 21. Considering she"s already being compared to her mother, there will no doubt be a lot more to come from Amber.

Riley Keough
Being able to claim Elvis as your grandfather can"t held but boost your chances at fame. Though her heritage probably helped her score her first modelling gig for Dolce & Gabbana when she was just 14, Riley seems to have paved her own respectable career thanks to her unique masculine look, laid back charisma and Presley attitude. Signed to Elite, Riley has appeared in editorials for Dazed & Confused, US Vogue, Vogue Russia and campaigns for Dior"s fragrance Miss Dior Cherie, Mango and most recently denim label Lee. Riley also starred as Marie Currie, sister of Dakota Fanning"s character Cherie in the 2009 movie The Runaways.

Zoe Kravitz
With a father like Lenny Kravitz (let"s just forget about that time her wore platforms) it"s only natural that you be born a cool cat. Such is the case with his daughter Zoe. Though acting and music seem to be her main passions, Zoe has still managed to land enviable modeling gigs, posing in editorials for French Jalouse, Venus Zine and Elle. Her most notable appearances though have been as the face of Vera Wang"s Princess fragrance, and starring alongside Abbey Lee Kershaw in Alexander Wang"s 2010 Tee collection ad campaign.

Georgia May Jagger
As we all know everyone"s favourite gap-toothed cutie Georgia May is the daughter of Rolling Stone"s front man Mick. Since bursting onto the scene in 2008, the Lara Stone/Bardot look-a-like has become the face of Hudson jeans and appeared in campaigns for Versace, Chanel Cruise and make up label Rimmel. Lately though Georgia has been MIA from the fashion scene. Turns out she is currently studying at New York"s School of Visual Arts and is said to have her eye on a career in photography.

Jethro Cave
Speaking of being missing in action, things have been rather quiet in the land of Jethro Cave. In 2008 and 2009 Jethro was everywhere to be seen - The Balenciaga catwalk, the pages of iD magazine, in front of Hedi Slimane"s lens. Now the son and spitting image of Nick Cave seems to be on a hiatus. If you"ve seen him around please let us know.

Daisy Lowe
Not one to shine away from the spotlight is Daisy Lowe. The daughter of Bush front man Gavin Rossdale and singer/songwriter Pearl Lowe is reported to have begun modeling when she was just two years old. At 15 she was signed to Select and has since starred in campaigns for Marc by Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Pringle of Scotland, Mango and Agent Provocateur as well as numerous catwalk appearances for Chanel, Henry Holland and Vivienne Westwood. Lowe also starred in the infamous Pirelli (read:porn) Calendar shot by Terry Richardson and is a bit of a Brit "it" girl, counting Jaime Winstone, Pixie Geldoff and Alexa Chung as friends. More recently Daisy has been tripping the light fantastic at fall fashion month, sitting front row at Jean Paul Gaultier and Victor & Rolf and walking for Pam Hogg and Biba.

Lizzie Jagger
Yet another model child of Mick Jagger"s, Lizzie made her modeling debut at 13 when she appeared on the Thierry Mugler catwalk alongside her mother Jerry Hall. Though Lizzie never received as much hype as her younger sister Georgia, she has kept a fashionable profile public by appearing in campaigns for Tommy Hilfiger, Lancome, Burberry and alongside close friend Erin O"Connor for Mark and Spencer. Lizzie also starred in the 2002 film Igby Goes Down. Most recently Lizzie was photographed with fellow rock star child Jethro Cave for C"N"C Costume National fall 2010 campaign.
