Vietnamese teen enters top ten Asian models
VietNamNet Bridge – Phan Ha Phuong, 16, a high-school student from Hanoi was among the top ten contestants of the Asian Supermodel Contest, which was held in China in early September.
The contest attracted 36 models from ten Asian countries, including Vietnam. Finally, China’s Cheng Yijia won the first prize, followed by Jeong You Sun from South Korea and Mariana Delrio from the Philippines.
Vietnam’s Phan Ha Phuong, 1.79m, entered the top ten. Two other Vietnamese contestants, Dinh Mai Ngoc, 21, student from the National Administration Institute, won the prize given by journalists while Ngo Bich Ngoc, student of Hanoi’s Thang Long University won the Style Prize. All three models are not famous faces in Vietnam. They are exclusive models of Venus Modeling. Last year Vietnamese model Nguyen Phuong Mai also entered this contest’s top ten.
