Olivia Inge will write the first guidebook on how to be a model

There are precious few role models for models, but Olivia Inge, who started working for Vivienne Westwood at the tender age of 16, is to write a manual for newcomers to the business."When I started, I had nothing in the way of advice," the 29-year-old clothes horse, told me at the Graduate Fashion Week gala show sponsored by River Island.

"I had no idea what to do with money, for instance. I would have loved to have had some guidance about how to spend my money, where I should invest it, who in the business I should trust, and what is reasonable – especially in regard to agency fees. So that is what the book is going to be about."

Sounds like a best-seller.BBC presenter Tim Willcox blows his own trumpet They must be hoping for a relatively quiet time in the BBC newsroom this weekend as a number of the presenters are decamping to Cornwall to see one of their own get married.The bride is Sophie Long, 33, who followed Nick Clegg around on his battle bus during the election campaign. She is marrying her long-term fiancé Will Green, 34, the sales director at Princess Yachts in Plymouth.

Among the guests are Jon Sopel, the host of The Politics Show, and Tim Willcox, who will be playing the trumpet during the service. He is a former trumpeter in the British Youth Symphony Orchestra . . . and not a lot of people know that.
