There must be something in the water in these parts because it"s true what all those out-of-towners say: Australian people ARE really good looking. Abbey Lee Kershaw is among the top ten models working at the moment; the extraordinary Julia Nobis was one of the most successful newcomers from the A/W 2010 runway season; and now yet another Australian face has popped up on the radar: Emily Wake.
The Adelaide native has just been voted "Model Of The Week" by online model bible Models.com. At age 22 she"s hardly the youngest girl on the runway, but it doesn"t hurt that she looks approx 11 and has that otherworldly, alien-esque beauty that takes a dame fine photo. With a look that resembles Devon Aoki mixed with Eniko Mihalik it"s only a matter of time before Prada comes a-calling.
