Aussie favourite Kristy Hinze now wants to be a model mum

Emily Power / Herald Sun May 28, 2010 7:23PM

SUPERMODEL Kristy Hinze wants to be a mum, but has dismissed a rumour she and her husband are trying IVF.The down-to-earth Aussie bombshell is back home shooting the spring/summer campaign for Sportscraft.

Hinze said children with her husband Jim Clark, 65, the billionaire founder of Netscape, are "definitely" in her future, but said the IVFstory in a women"s magazine story was made up.

"I would never rule anything out," she said."If that (IVF) is something we have to do to have children, it is something we have to do, but it is definitely not something we have looked into at the moment ... everything seems to be fine in that department.

"I"m not putting any time holds on nature. If it happens, it happens."
Hinze, 30, who is based in the US with Clark, started modelling at 14 and is entering her third decade in the industry.

"There has been a big thing with models from the "80s and early "90s, Chirsty Turlington and Claudia Schiffer, they are still doing major campaigns, so just because you are over 30, or possibly over 40, doesn"t spell the end," she said.
