Naomi Campbell given permission to fly to Haiti

London, May 24 (ANI): British model Naomi Campbell has been permitted to fly to Haiti after her earlier trip was cancelled due to a malaria outbreak.

Campbell had hosted star-studded catwalk shows as part of her Fashion For Relief campaign to fund the relief works in Haiti, which was struck by an earthquake in January.

The 40-year-old supermodel had to fly to Haiti in April for distributing collected donations but her plan was called of after a malaria outbreak was reported in the area, reports The Daily Star.
But now Campbell has been given a green flag to visit Haiti in June.

"I was so disappointed not to be able to make it at Easter, but I was advised that the malaria outbreak made it very dangerous," Campbell said.

"I will go at the end of June. It"s really important for me and everyone who supported Fashion For Relief to see where the money has gone," she added. (ANI)
