PHENAKITE

Overview:

The name Phenakite is from the Greek word 'Phenakos' meaning "Deceiver". It is composed of Beryllium silicate. It is often associated with other gemstones including topaz, beryl (emerald), chrysoberyl and smoky quartz. Phenakite is quite a popular mineral for collectors, especially the twinned crystal forms.

Usage:
