MALACHITEOverview: Malachite has received the name from greek "Malache". Malachite is generally found with blue Azurite, and sometimes the two may occur admixed or banded together, forming what is commonly known in the gem and mineral trade as "Azure-malachite". Malachite is very popular among mineral collectors, especially interestingly shaped and banded specimens. Usage: Malachite has been used
to aid success in business and protect against undesirable business
associations. It is a stone of balance in relationships. Its believed
to be useful for healing illnesses of the stomach, liver, kidneys, lungs
and immune system. Its said to release and draw out pain and inflammation,
depression, anger and heals blockages. Malachite is said to bring harmony
into one's life. Malachite is said to be especially stimulating for
the mind and is a good concentration stone to help fix ones direction
for success in practical material matters. Occurrence: Zaire, Namibia, Russia, Australia, England and in the U.S.A. its found in Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, Pennsylvania and Tennessee. |
