DIOPSIDE

Overview: The etymological origin of Diopside comes from the ancient greek "di", which means "two", and "opsis", meaning "vision. Diopside is an important rock forming mineral in several metamorphic and basic to ultra basic igneous rocks. Diopside has several varieties, including a chromium-rich gem variety called chrome Diopside. Diopside is a calcium magnesium silicate that crystallizes from magmas.

Diopside is found in two forms, the black star diopside, and the green emerald-like Chrome diopside.Diopside also offers a classic four rayed star stone that is very much like a black star sapphire

Usage: This mineral clears out congested emotions by circulating cosmic energy throughout the auric field. Diopside increases creative visualization and helps to manifest desired goals. Clear or light green gem-quality crystals are preferred when using this stone for visionary purposes.
