Eligibility
Forestry and wildlife courses are provided both at the undergraduate, post graduate levels and Ph.D. level. However the minimum qualification required to pursue this program vary with country. Most of the universities offer specialization at master's level in subjects like Forest Management, Commercial Forestry, Forest Economics, Wood Science & Technology, Wildlife Science, Veterinary Science etc.Apart from academic qualifications one should have personal attributes like spirit of adventure, scientific temperament, a genuine interest in the preservation of the natural environment and habitat. Physical fitness, good communication and organizational skills as well as a love of the outdoors are essential requirements when contemplating a career in Forestry.
