Eligibility
To become an Air Hostess you don't need any special academic qualification. A graduation in any subject will do. There are however some carriers which insist on a diploma in either hotel or tourism management which is offered by many institutes. However these institutes also offer specialized air hostess training programs. But what you really need to make a mark in this field is a mix of right personality, aptitude skills and attitude.The applicant should be physically fit with a pleasing personality and clear complexion. An Air-Hostess candidate must also be below 25 years of age and at least 154.5-157.5 cms tall. Weight and height should be proportionate with good eyesight of 6/6 uncorrected vision in both eyes. Thus an individual with friendly personality who works in a systematic approach with speed and efficiency is commonly preferred.
