The flag of Pisces has seven horizontal stripes of equal width running from the hoist side to the fly side. These horizontal stripes are alternated by lilac violet and green colour. The centre of the flag has a white circle with two fish like depicts of red and blue colour in opposite directions. But astrologically this signifies the Piscean nature of reason and wisdom.
This also denotes the alertness of the people belonging to this zodiac sign and also coincidentally corresponds to the era of Jesus' time, that being from the year 0 to the year 2000, roughly, the "age" of Pisces.

pisces-astrology and numerology

The white colour of the circle symbolizes the precise, critical, and sincere nature of the Piscean and in this flag it is used as the symbol of purity. The green colour of the flag signifies that the people of Pisces sign is supposed to be very sympathetic, steadfast and restrained. It also indicates the soothing nature of the people. The green colour symbolizes life, growth and rebirth. Green color is also a Virgo shade. It is supposed to instill self-confidence and helps steady nerves. Green aids balance in all things and is a typical healing hue. Green is excellent for calming frayed nerves. With all the positive traits of the above mentioned colour the lilac violet in the flag talks about the mysterious and gloomy nature of the Piscean people. It denotes more of the fantasy and mystic world of these people than the natural and comprehensive existing.

There seems to be something basic about the number seven in nature which is indicated by the horizontal stripes. Medieval astrology has its seven Ancient and Sacred planets: Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Venus, Mercury, and the Moon or Luna. There are the seven visible heavenly bodies which make up our solar system, the planets Uranus, Neptune and Pluto not being visible to the naked eye. Strictly speaking, of course, the Sun and Moon are not planets, and are more correctly described as the two luminaries; but the term 'seven sacred planets' was used for convenience. Everything upon Earth is under the governance, astrological speaking, of these seven influences.

This is why we have the seven-day week where each day is ruled by one of the planets. The 2 number of fishes numerologically indicates the people of this sign as passionate, perceptive, peacemakers, diplomatic, always seeking harmony, and truthful, tough fighters when provoked. The numerological number for the zodiac sign Pisces is 8 which signify the people as compassionate, selfless, generous, idealist, spiritual healer and vision minded.
